AI Image Detector
Upload any image to check for signs of AI generation. Analyzes metadata, dimensions, and pixel patterns. 100% client-side.
This experimental detector uses heuristic analysis to identify common AI-generation signals. It is not 100% accurate — real photos with stripped metadata may appear suspicious.

Instant Analysis
EXIF, dimensions, and pixel noise are analyzed in milliseconds — no server needed.
Multi-Signal Detection
Checks 6 independent indicators: metadata, camera info, software tags, dimensions, timestamps, and noise.
How AI Image Detection Works
AI-generated images from tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and Adobe Firefly often share telltale characteristics that distinguish them from real camera photos. Our detector checks for six independent signals:
EXIF Metadata: Real cameras embed detailed metadata (make, model, lens, GPS, timestamps) into every photo. AI generators typically produce images with no EXIF data at all — or with software fields that directly name the generation tool.
Image Dimensions: AI models output images at specific resolutions (512px, 768px, 1024px, 1536px). While not conclusive on its own, matching both width and height to typical AI sizes is a strong indicator.
Noise Patterns: Real camera sensors produce natural pixel-level noise. AI-generated images often have unnaturally smooth gradients and lack the random variation found in real photographs.
Find Where Any Photo Was Taken
Our AI Location Search analyzes architecture, signs, vegetation, and landscape clues to pinpoint photo locations worldwide — no GPS data needed.
