How Color Extraction Works
Our color palette extractor uses a multi-step process to identify the most visually significant colors in your image. First, the image is downsampled to a consistent resolution for fast processing. Then, every pixel is quantized into color buckets.
Smart Clustering: Similar colors are grouped together using distance-based clustering in RGB color space. This prevents near-identical shades from appearing as separate colors, giving you a clean, distinct palette.
